The Verona High School swim team is hosting a fundraiser at the Chipotle in West Caldwell on Wednesday, February 24 from 5 to 9 p.m. Simply show the flyer below or mention at check out that you are supporting the VHS swim team and 33% of your purchase goes to the team. The swim team is one of only two pay-to-play teams at VHS and, with operating costs rising to close to $24,000 this season because of COVID-19, it has also put up a GoFundMe campaign to help cover them. The team must swim in virtual meets this year: Verona will swim at the Caldwell Community Center by itself, record its times with an official present and submit them to the swim league. The other team will do the same and the meet will be decided without the teams ever being in the pool together.
