Verona went all out to win Hearth Realty Group‘s Halloween house decorating contest. There were skeletons, zombies, ghosts and more skeletons, all competing for the $1,000 grand prize.

Early this month, the real estate company announced that it was looking for the scariest house in Verona. Entrants simply needed to tag Hearth on Instagram to enter the contest. In the end, Hearth awarded the prize to the home of the Vinciguerra family at 177 Grove Avenue (above), which seemed to have zombies in the house clamoring to get out and skeletons climbing its walls.

“I got so many nice texts and emails from Verona residents about the contest I can’t wait to bring it back next year,” says Josh Jacobs, the broker of record at Hearth. “We will have more categories and prizes including best pumpkin display, scariest, most creative and an overall winner.”

You can see all the entrants in Hearth’s video below.
