The Verona Environmental Commission (VEC) is calling for volunteers to help with a clean-up of the Peckman River and the forest trail behind F.N. Brown on Saturday, October 10, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.
Volunteers should wear long pants and work boots or rain boots, and bring sturdy gloves.

The clean-up is open to volunteers of all ages but those under 18 must have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian, and children under 14 must be accompanied by a parent.
