Verona football hosts Cedar Grove this Friday night, October 9, and with ticket sales restricted to football, band and cheer families, your best best to see the game could be through the pay-per-view live-stream arranged by the Fifth Downers. Football, like all other Verona High School sports, has limited fundraising options because of the pandemic and the Fifth Downers booster group shares in the proceeds of the live-stream, which costs $10 per game.
The live-stream for the game, which starts at 7 p.m., can be purchased here.
No general admission tickets will be sold at the gate, and all spectators with a ticket must show it to gain admission. Verona fans will enter through the driveway gate located near the snack stand. Verona Athletics is reminding those who do have a ticket that face coverings must be worn at all times, and that failure to wear one “could result in ejection from the game and/or future games.”
If you do not want to sit in the stands, which have been marked off for social distancing, you can bring a lawn chair to sit in the in the grass areas.
