John H. Carlson, 67, passed away on Saturday, September 5, 2020 surrounded by his loving family at the Karen Ann Quinlan Home for Hospice in Fredon, N.J.
Born in Glen Ridge, John grew up in Verona prior to moving to Essex Fells.
He was the owner of Galaxy Sound in Ridgefield, N.J. and was always known to be very skillful when it came to emerging technology.
John was an avid golfer who found so much joy when speaking about, playing or watching the game with his three children or loved ones.
John was predeceased by his wife, Noreen-Daly Carlson, his parents, Henry and Leona Carlson and his brother, James Carlson.
John is survived by his wife, Judith Trzanowski-Carlson; his children, Ryan Carlson, Sarah Carlson and her husband, Jon Shankman and Victoria Carlson; and their (crazy) dog, Gucci.
Services and interment will be held privately.
