On Saturday, August 8, the Verona Public Library and Verona Arts will be asking Veronans to paint the town–quite literally. To bring attention to local businesses and add some whimsy to Verona, the library and the visual arts group are inviting the community to paint designated storefront windows with this year’s Summer Reading theme, “Imagine Your Story.”

All ages are welcome in the event, and families are encouraged to participate. Window space is limited and all designs should have a family-friendly theme. To participate, submit your design, along with your name, phone number and email address to the Verona Public Library by July 31 at [email protected].

Entries will be accepted in the order received. Participants will be assigned a location and time to respect social distancing protocols, and paint will be provided. The rain date for the event is Sunday, August 9.

For more information, call the library at 973-857-4848 or email [email protected].
