Mrs. Josephine Muhler died on July 6, 2020 at the JFK Medical Center in Edison after a long illness. She was 89 years old.

A funeral mass will be offered at Our Lady of the Lake Church, 32 Lakeside Avenue, Verona at 10 a.m. on Saturday July 11, 2020. Face masks/coverings will be required and social distancing observed while inside the church.

Born and raised in Paterson she lived in Bloomfield and Verona prior to moving to Menlo Park last year.

Mrs. Muhler (Jo or Josie) was a top sales representative for Sarah Coventry Jewelry in the late 1960’s to early 1970s. She later worked part time for a CPA training firm in Roseland for many years. Above all, she was a consummate homemaker always attending to her family and those who needed her. She enjoyed cooking, get-togethers with her many friends and family and summer vacations on the beach with her husband and son at Wildwood Crest.

She was predeceased by her sister, Mary Chichowski (nee Gulino); brother, Bill Gulino; parents, Ignazio and Biagino (nee Deodoto) Gulino; and recently, her loving husband of 61 years, Arthur H. Muhler on April 26, 2020.

Mrs. Muhler is survived by her son, Michael and daughter-in-law, Carol M. Muhler, granddaughter, Hailey Noel Muhler and several nieces and nephews.

The family requests that donations be considered to the Verona Rescue Squad, 12 Church Street, Verona, 07044 in Josephine’s memory.
