Leigh Hogan hadn’t entered a guess in “Doors Of Verona” until yesterday, but one guess was all it took. She typed “Home Sweet Home Antique Store” into the Comments box and came away with a $25 gift certificate to Voltaire Cycles, the Verona electric bike store founded as Electric Spokes. Home Sweet Home, located at 284 Bloomfield Avenue, is a sister business to Remember When Antiques next door, and both businesses feature an eclectic array of antique and upholstered furniture, lighting and other home decor. And if this spring’s projects include clearing out older furniture, know that Home Sweet Home buys things locally for its inventory.
Today’s photo is above and today’s $25 gift certificate will be to Baked Bouquet. Founded in Verona in December 2014, it frosts cupcakes to look like flowers. MyVeronaNJ pledged to spend $1,000 on gift certificates when we started “Doors Of Verona” on April 11, and we’re approaching the end of that spending.
So put your guess in the Comments box below and if you’ve won before, you can’t win again.
Verona sports center
Hi – is this the Huntington Learning Center?
DeCozen Dealership?
Academy apparel
No, not Academy Apparel
No, not DeCozen
No, not Huntington.
And yes, you finally got one Chloe. It is Verona Sports Center, or actually what used to be Verona Sports Center until Ben Leuzzi retired and closed his store earlier this year. Watch your email for your gift certificate to Baked Bouquet, and watch that corner for a new addition to the Verona Business Community.
