Did you happen to drive by Forest Avenue Elementary School this week? Notice those green lawn signs?
While this year’s Teacher Appreciation Week took a new virtual approach, the Forest Avenue SCA put the lawn signs there to ensure that the broader Forest community knew just how much the elementary teachers were missed and appreciated.

Students were also encouraged to take an action every day throughout the week, including sending their teacher an email sharing their favorite memory and even drawing a picture of them. The SCA says it hopes the entire Forest Avenue Elementary School team know how much their students and parents appreciate everything they do.
