Here’s another resource for your walks around Verona: The Verona Historic Preservation Commission has started an Instagram account to chronicle our town’s older, interesting homes and former homes.
The photos already posted include buildings you might already know, like Kip’s Castle, a 9,000-square-foot mansion that was built by textile magnate Frederic E. Kip built in 1902. But the Commission also has a photo of nearby 23 Crestmont Road, the Salvatorian Fathers monastery, and 184 Linden Avenue, which is one of Verona’s only Mid-Century Modern houses.
