The Verona High School Class of 1994 recently came together during this time of quarantine for an impromptu class reunion. Coordinated along with friends, their class president, Michael Verrone, arranged a Zoom meeting, which was shared across multiple email threads to get as many classmates together as possible.
With a graduating class of a little over a hundred, 28 friends reassembled at 9 p.m. on Saturday, April 18, with the reunion concluding shortly after 11 p.m. VHS ’94 was also joined by past VHS administration, including Dr. Ben Tantillo, who was principal at the time, along with Glenn Cesa, who was then the assistant principal. The class was also joined by Guidance Counselor Pat Maisenbacher and Maurice Moran, an English teacher for many decades.

“It was great for those who could join us and hopefully we can do this again and drive for a bigger gathering.” said Verrone. Laura Erb (née DeGrande), emailed the following day to say, “So glad I joined and got to see everyone smile.”
