The Verona real  estate market remains much quieter than it should be at this time of year, a time that is usually filled with new listings from families having a last child graduating from Verona High School and buyers looking to get into one of the state’s top school districts before the fall. If you are looking to buy or sell, real estate firms have put new rules in place to make your transaction as safe as possible now.

Here’s what’s happening, from lowest priced to highest in each category:

41 Brookside Terrace: 4 beds, 1 bath. Cape with central air. Some plumbing already installed for additional bath. $389,000.

8 Halsted Street: 3 beds, 2 baths. Updated ranch with eat-in kitchen close to elementary school. $475,000.

5 Crane Terrace: 3 beds, 3 baths. Expanded Cape. Possible in-law suite in basement. Price cut $10,000 to $499,000.
