He’s only still a junior at Middlebury, but Jack Farrell topped 1,000 career points in Middlebury’s 77-61 win over Connecticut College on Saturday afternoon. Farrell is a 2017 graduate of Verona High School who played on VHS’ state championship basketball team.

Farrell has started in every Middlebury game this season and has been averaging 17 points per game and is at 68.6% from the free-throw line. The 10th-ranked Panthers (18-3, 4-3) return to action next Sunday when they visit Wesleyan for a 1 p.m. tipoff.
