On Friday, December 27, the Verona Police Department held a promotion ceremony for two of their finest officers.
Lieutenant David R. Wardrope was promoted to the rank of captain and Police Officer Christopher M. Scheper was promoted to the rank of sergeant. We congratulate these officers and wish them well as they embark on the next phase in their careers.
