U15 Girls Soccer Wins Flight

Congratulations are due to the Verona United’ Soccer Club‘s U15 girls team, who won their B flight over the weekend. Led by Matt Bosco and assistant coach Will Battersby, the girls were trained by Roy Muriel from the Red Bulls.

They played 20 games this fall, which included three tournaments, and had nine shutouts while allowing just 11 goals.

The team consists of Aeryn Curren, Ellie Battersby, Sarah Bosco, Samantha Gerardi, Mia Viganola, Grace McMahon, Kaitlyn Pietrucha, Ella Scipione, Emma Shaw, Ella LaForgia, Kiera Dolan, Emma Bermingham, Maddie Polanskyj, Grace Keane, Alexa Polanco, Giada DeLorenzo and Julia Dacey.

Verona United Soccer Club is a volunteer driven, non-profit organization located in Verona, that is focused on youth player development by providing a professional, safe, and positive soccer environment. Verona United focuses on growing committed players within a competitive environment that develops a player’s skills, knowledge and appreciation for the game of soccer by providing high quality training, structure and development through positive training and coaching.
