Mrs. Lenora Lenza Cocozza, 96, died on September 27, 2019. Visiting will be at the Prout Funeral Home, 370 Bloomfield Avenue, Verona on Monday, September 30 from 4 to 7 p.m.
A funeral mass will be offered at Our Lady of the Lake Church, 32 Lakeside Avenue, Verona on Tuesday, October 1 at 10 a.m. with an entombment to follow at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum, East Hanover.
Born in Newark, Mrs. Cocozza lived in Verona for 65 years. She worked as a clerk/typist for the Essex County District Court for 18 years. She was an active member of UNICO Verona, Verona Senior Citizens and Verona Park Senior Citizens.
Mrs. Cocozza was predeceased by her brother, Antonio Lenza and sister, Ann De Maio. She is survived by her loving son, Vincent A. Cocozza, dear niece, Joann De Blasis, dear nephews, John Lenza and Frank De Maio as well as her dear friend, Tom Valente.
