The Verona Historical Society invites you to join us on Tuesday evening October 1 as author Kevin Kowalick will speak to us on his intimate history in exploring the facility and the writing of his historical picture book on the history of Overbrook. He will be sharing some haunting images of the abandoned buildings and the impact exploring the vast ruins and extensive tunnel network had on his life. We welcome you to join us and share your stories and recollections of Overbrook whether you were a former employee or someone who explored the vast ruins and extensive tunnel network in recent years as did Kevin.

Local author and historian Robert L. Williams will display some of the relics that were salvaged and tell the story of a bygone era in local and national history.

Presented by the Verona Historical Society. The event will take place at the Verona Community Center Fireman’s Room, 800 Bloomfield Ave., at 7:30 p.m.
