The Verona Women’s Club will hold its Town-Wide Garage Sale on Saturday, October 19, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. (Rain date: October 20).
The cost to participate is $25, which includes advertising and inclusion on the club’s shoppers’ map. You can download the registration form here. The club must receive it with your payment by Saturday, October 12. Shoppers can download the Garage Sale Listing & Map on October 18 from the club’s website.

The garage sale is a major fundraiser for the club, which celebrated its 125th year of service to Verona earlier this year. The Woman’s Club’s community service programs have included everything from health to scholarships for Verona High School seniors. In recent years, the club has become known for its “Share Your Light” night, traditionally on the second Saturday in December. It sells sets of luminaries that are displayed around homes and in the center of town as a symbol of community spirit and unity. Many members have been honored by the state federation of Woman’s Clubs for their work over the years.
