County Recognizes Two Verona Artists

Essex County Executive Joseph N. DiVincenzo, Jr. (third from right) announced that (from third from left) Cedar Grove residents Rosann Martin, Ray Kowalski, Marie Matarazzo and Richard Hanifan, Verona resident Del Turgelsky, Cedar Grove resident John Shiever and Verona resident Andrea Bruno received awards in the Annual Essex County Senior Citizens Juried Art Show.

Turgelsky won first place in the professional acrylic category for “Woman with Hat” and first place in the professional mixed media category for “Renaissance Woman.” Bruno received second place in the non-professional photography category for “Dusty Gaucho.”
