Today, Tuesday June 4, is Eid al-Fitr, the holiday that ends the Muslim holy month of Ramadan. The celebrating will be inside and outside at the Verona Islamic Center so the Verona Police Department has sent out a Nixle alert to advise that Personette Avenue between Grove and Fairview avenues will be closed to traffic until noon.
