Verona has an Olympic-size community pool and registration is now open so that you can enjoy it for the summer 2019 season. (If you want to understand why Verona has an Olympic-size pool, read up on our Olympics gold medal winner).
Family memberships are $475 this year, while Family with a babysitter is $580. The Couples badge is $440, Parent/Child is $415 and an individual membership is $315. There is also a Twilight membership for people who can’t use the pool during the day ($180) and a Senior Citizen badge for $165 per person. Anyone who registers before May 15 will be credited with three guest passes. There will be a $25 late fee for registrations after May 15.
You can register online, or in person at the Verona Recreation Department. In addition to the department’s regular special evening and Saturday hours of 5 to 7 p.m. on Mondays and 9 a.m. to noon, through June 15.
The pool will be open on weekends only as of May 25; the full season begins at noon on June 21. Pool hours are Monday through Thursday from noon to 8 p.m., and Friday from noon to 9 p.m. On Saturday and Sunday, the pool is open 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., with an adults-only hour from 10 to 11 a.m. both days. Tuesday is Family Night from 5 to 9 p.m.
