The Episcopal Church of the Holy Spirit will be sponsoring a blood drive on Sunday, May 5, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., and you can register now to make either a whole blood or double red donation. A double red donation is also known as apherisis and you can learn more about that process here.
To donate, you must way at least 110 pounds. You should eat a meal before donating, drink plenty of water before and after, and bring ID.
The organizers say appointments are preferred, but walk-ins are welcome too.
