Michael Nochimson and Alex Roman have filed to run for re-election to the Verona Town Council, and they will be joined in the race by three challengers: John Fio Rito, Christine McGrath and John Quattrocchi.
Nochimson, who now serves as deputy mayor, is seeking his third term on the Council. He was last elected in 2015, when Roman won his first term on the Council.
Fio Rito, a veteran, is a real estate developer with two children in Laning Avenue School. McGrath, a resident since 2010, has been president of the Friends of the Verona Library and Junior Woman’s Club, where she was a co-creator of Verona Fights Hunger Week. Quattrocchi, who served five terms on the Verona Board of Education—-most of which as president—announced his candidacy earlier today.[one_third last=”no”]…[/one_third]
