At last night’s Town Council budget workshop, Matthew Laracy, Verona’s chief financial officer, said that more Veronans are taking advantage of his department’s automatic bank debit system to pay their water and sewer bills.

If you don’t know the block and lot number of your property, you can find it through the state property database here.
There is no charge to set up or use the automatic debit service.
Laracy also said during the presentation on his department’s budget that Verona has completed the installation of new water meters in Verona homes. He said that the technology in the new meters helps the town to spot water leaks quickly–often before the homeowner does.
