Services Set For Fred Hill Sr.

Mr. Frederick J. Hill., 84, of Verona died on March 2, 2019 in Cedar Grove. Visiting will be in Our Lady of the Lake Church, Lakeside Avenue, Verona on Tuesday, March 5 from 3 to 7 p.m. Parking will be in the Lakeside Avenue church lot.

A funeral mass will be offered in Our Lady of the Lake Church, Verona on Wednesday, March 6 at 1 p.m.

Mr. Hill is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Evelyn (nee Bender) J. Hill; his loving children, Nancy Apisa (John), Freddie Hill (LuAnn), Linda Boyd (Bill), Jimmy Hill (Pam), Tracey Hill and Karen Jandoli (Jimmy); and cherished grandchildren, Jessica (Henry), Brian, James, Danielle, Natalie, Nicholas, Alexandra, Giselle, Giancarlo, Steven, Andrew O., Andrew K., Kimberley and Caroline.

He is also survived by his siblings, Monica Conte and Brian Hill (Kay); in-laws, Patricia Gaughran, Francis Cifelli (Donald) and Frank Bender (Candace); and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Team Hill Foundation, 438 Highway 35 North, Unit 2205, Mantoloking, NJ 08738 would be greatly appreciated. Condolences to the Hill family may be left at www.proutfuneralhome.com.

  1. My condolences to all. Fred was at first, a real gentleman and then a great coach ! His efforts will always be a goal for those who wish to follow in his footsteps!!!!
