To the Editor:

The First Presbyterian Church of Verona would like to thank the community for making the sock drop (done in conjunction with Christian radio station 99.1) a rousing success. As a result of your generosity, nearly 400 pairs of socks were picked up on Friday, February 15, and will be delivered to the River Mission in Hackensack.

There is still time to donate! The donation bin will remain at the church until Friday, February 22. Thick and warm tube socks of all sizes are always needed.

Thank you,
Pastor Lynn Rubier-Capron
