Ms. Karyn M. Datzko, 41, died on February 11, 2019 in Wayne. Visiting in the Prout Funeral Home, 370 Bloomfield Avenue, Verona will be on Friday, February 15 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral mass will be held in Our Lady of the Lake Church, Verona on Saturday at 10 a.m.
Born in Belleville, Ms. Datzko grew up in Verona and lived in Dover prior to moving to North Caldwell.
She graduated from Verona High School, William Paterson University with a degree in education and her special education certification from Jersey City State University. Ms. Datzko was a teacher at the Allegro School in Cedar Knolls.
She is survived by her parents, Robert & Beverly (Martin) Datzko; her sisters, Jessica Datzko and Denise Smith (Donald); nephews, Ethan, Kevin; niece, Allison and her devoted boyfriend, Robert Higgins.
