To the editor:
On behalf of the Minette’s Angels Foundation, I would like to thank the Verona High School Varsity and Junior Varsity Volleyball teams for their fundraising event during Breast Cancer Awareness month. The evening opened with a surprise visit from the Verona PBA Local 72 and a donation check for $250 to MAF. A special thank you to the VHS Spike Club, Len Waterman, Coach Ryan Brown and Athletic Director Robert Merkler.
It is because of everyone that participated that our Foundation can continue our Mission. The money you have raised will allow us to continue providing assistance to those going through treatment, as well as post treatment, promote breast health awareness and support research. Our Foundation will also continue to offer scholarships to Seton Hall University Nursing Students as well as Verona students entering the medical field.
