Voices will hold an open house on Tuesday, January 15, at 7 p.m. to welcome prospective new members. Light refreshments will be served. It will be held at H.B. Whitehorne Middle School, 600 Bloomfield Avenue, Verona, in the Music Room. The first rehearsal will follow at 7:30 p.m. and will repeat every Tuesday until the concert on May 18.
This season there is need for men in the bass/baritone vocal range.
Voices is directed by Verona native Denise Bastanza and accompanied by Emiliya Frenklakh.
In addition to our normal concert schedule, Voices is considering participating in the “Sounds of Christmas” performance at Radio City Music Hall in December 2019, in which vocal groups perform in a 5-minute a capella performance before the curtain opens on the Christmas Spectacular.
