This Tuesday, December 11, is the last Board of Education meeting for 2018. The BOE will welcome the two new members recently elected, Tim Alworth and Pam Priscoe, at its reorganization meeting on January 8, 2019.

Also of importance this week is a meeting of the Forever In Our Hearts support group at First Presbyterian Church. The group was created for people who have lost adult children. It meets every month on the second Tuesday of the month at the church, which is located on Fairview Avenue just off Bloomfield Avenue. There is parking on the street, and a lot behind the church.

Saturday is the last day to get a letter to the Junior Woman’s Club of Verona so it can be delivered to Santa. And if you are wondering about when Santa will be riding around town on a Verona Fire Department truck, that happens next Sunday, December 16. More about that next week.
