Mrs. Margaret M. Russo, 90, died on December 4, 2018 in Glen Ridge.nVisiting in the Prout Funeral Home, 370 Bloomfield Avenue, Verona will be on Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m. A funeral mass will be offered on Monday in St. Aloysius Church, Caldwell at 10 a.m. Entombment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
Born and raised in Brooklyn, Mrs. Russo moved to Verona 11 years ago.
She loved to dance, trips to Atlantic City, her soap operas, cook and be with her family and friends.
She was predeceased by her husband, Vincent Russo and is survived by her daughters, Phyllis Belfiore (Nicholas), Tina Coppola (Vincent), her brother Frank Giordano, her grandchildren, Christian, Vincent, Nicholas, Christopher, Michelle, Jessica, Michael, Joseph, Nicholas, and her great grandchildren, Vincent, Jayden, Julianna, Justin, Brooke, Morgan, Ben and Cecelia (on the way).
In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959 would be appreciated.
