Verona High School’s Spotlight Players will raise the curtain on their fall show “The Secret in the Wings” this Thursday, November 15, for a three-day run.
The play uses elements of a series of fairy tales to tell an entirely new story. And rather than have each actor playing one specific character, the actors in “The Secret” play multiple parts throughout the seven different fairy tales that take place throughout the show.
The cast includes Sofia Albanese, Liz Barile, Abby Bermeo, Aidan Callari, Cailan Compierchio, Gemma Conlon, Maya Fortgang, Gina Gagliano, Isabella Hussar, David Karpinski, Alex Kosulin, Molly Ligon, Jack McHugh, Michael Murphy, Audrey Ng, Maria Serra, Joey Visone and Griffin Willner.
Performances will be Thursday, Friday and Saturday night at 7:30 p.m. in the VHS Auditorium. There will also be a Saturday matinee at 2 p.m. Tickets are $5 for students and $12 for adults, and $5 for seniors at the matinee, and can be purchased at the door.
