To the Editor:

On the last Friday of September, I was in a horrible one-car accident on Franklin Street at about 2 p.m.

One or more fellow residents notified the Township’s First Responders. Some of the police officers knew my name and addressed me by it.

The members of the Rescue Squad, and the firefighters took care to get me out of my car with the least aggravation of my injuries, and took me to the trauma center.

I thank ALL of them.

The only problem my family encountered was that my wife wasn’t notified of the accident until she contacted the police on Saturday to report me as “missing” that someone put things together, and realized what had happened and where I was.
