Verona starts this week fighting hunger and fighting suicide, but gets a break on Thursday because it is the Verona Municipal Alliance Committee’s fall Family Night, an evening with no homework or sports commitments. Saturday will be busy, with football’s Senior Day game, the Woman’s Club’s town-wide garage sale and an evening social for sports parents.
