The Verona Sports Boosters have scheduled their annual parents social for Saturday, October 20, from 7:30 to 11:30 p.m., at the Ringside Pub in Caldwell. The social will feature live music from Sock Monster, a band fronted by Verona’s own Andy Yeates.
Advance tickets are $20 per person, and to get them, you need to send payment by October 15 to Nancy Leonard, 104 Park Ave., Verona, NJ 07044. Make checks payable to “Verona Sports Boosters”.
Tickets will be $25 per person at the door. The ticket price covers light fare/appetizers and the live band, but what you drink is on your own tab.
The event is open to all parents, whether they have a student-athlete in the family or not, and alumni are welcome.
