The Verona Municipal Alliance Committee (VMAC) co-sponsored the event, and provided bobbers and all the prizes for the derby in Verona.

Madelyn Duerk won the girls’ 0-5 age category with six fish. Her brothers Dylan and Christian, and parents Alana and Scott helped recognize her achievement.

Emma Hogan caught her first fish five minutes into the contest and caught a total of six fish to win the girls’ 11-15 age category.
