The program includes classical works (Mozart’s “Alleluja”, Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah”), pop tunes (“He Ain’t Heavy, He’s My Brother”, Billy Joel’s beautiful “Lullaby”), Brian Setzer’s jump and jive (“Getting’ in the Mood”), Broadway (“Fiddler on the Roof”), and amongst some originals, a Korean Folk song called “Ahrirang”.

Tickets are $10 at the door and $8 for seniors or students. The Verona Community Center is located at 880 Bloomfield Avenue.

Voices of Verona & West Essex is directed by Denise Bastanza and accompanied by Helga Bartus. The group rehearses on Tuesday nights during its spring and fall performance seasons in the Music Room of H.B. Whitehorne Middle School.
