Mrs. Thankamoney L. Tharayil died on Saturday, May 26, 2018 surrounded by family at her home in Caldwell, NJ.
Visiting in the Prout Funeral Home, 370 Bloomfield Avenue, Verona will be on Friday, June 1 from 5 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, June 2 from 8 to 9 a.m. A funeral mass will be offered in Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church, North Livingston Avenue, Roseland, on Saturday at 10 a.m.
Born in Kerala, India, Mrs. Tharayil lived in Verona from 1981 until moving to Caldwell in 2015.
She was a registered nurse at St. Michael’s Medical Center and Columbus Hospital in Newark.
Mrs. Tharayil is survived by her husband of 47 years, Lukose Tharayil, her sons, Jacob Tharayil and Stephen Tharayil (and his wife, Gina), her brother, Dr. Francis Uralil and her grandchildren, Jack Lukose Tharayil and Mila Beatrice Tharayil.
