Verona High School students are running a drive to collect a wide variety of personal supplies for U.S. troops.

The students say that helpful items include things like all-purpose wipes, greeting cards, stationery, batteries, mini-flashlights, gum, video games, ear buds and earphones, hats and gloves, and a wide variety of toiletries, including sunscreen. All donated items must have an expiration date of at least six months from the date of your donation. There’s more information in the Twitter post by VHS Vice Principal Thomas Lancaster below.

There’s a collection box in the lobby at VHS. You can give your donations to any high school student you know and ask them to bring them in, or drop items in the outer lobby at the high school.
