The Verona cancer support group WINGS (Women Inspiring, Nurturing, Giving Strength and Support) will hold a free Reiki workshop for women cancer patients on Saturday, February 17 at the Verona Community Center. The facilitator is Lynn Ferrer, a holistic nurse practitioner and a founding member of WINGS. Reiki is a gentle hand-on energy healing and women who come to the workshop will learn self-Reiki.
The program will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and breakfast is included. The Verona Community Center is located at 880 Bloomfield Avenue.
