At 6:42 this morning, the Verona Police Department sent out a Nixle Alert announcing that, about two hours earlier, they arrested a suspect with a large amount of money and items apparently taken from numerous vehicles.
“After chasing the individual on foot, he was taken into custody in the area of Mt. Prospect and Sunset,” the VPD said. “Please check your vehicles (camera system if applicable) and call us NOW if your car was entered. We are attempting to identify recovered items.”
