On January 7, select high school soccer players from all over the state were honored by the Soccer Coaches Association of New Jersey. Three local players earned the coaching body’s All State honor: (above, l-r) Dom Bryant from Cedar Grove High School and, from Verona High School, Cole Smith and Sal Vassallo.
The 2017 Verona High School boys soccer team competed through the first round of the NJSIAA North 1, Group 1 tournament, finishing the season with a record of 6-9-2.
