The National Weather Service has put out a winter weather advisory for Saturday, and the Verona Police Department is asking anyone who has a portable basketball hoop in the street to pull it in out of the way.
Right now, the meteorologists are calling for only 2 to 4 inches of snow between 6 a.m. Saturday and 1 a.m. Sunday, with most of that during the day on Saturday. If the snow gets to a plowable amount the street hoops make it harder for the town plows to operate.
Limited visibilities on Saturday could cause hazardous driving conditions in our area. So stay alert and call 5-1-1 if you need road condition information.
