Verona Public LibraryThe Friends of the Verona Public Library are happy to announce that they are hosting their annual 50/50 raffle to benefit the Verona Public Library. The winner of the raffle will win 50% of the proceeds, up to a maximum of $1,000. This is a great chance for individuals to support the Verona Public Library and win a chance at a large cash prize right before the holidays. All proceeds will be donated to the Verona Public Library to help fund special event programming for adults and children in 2018.

Tickets are on sale for $5 each, and can be purchased at the Verona Public Library or by email [email protected]. A packet of five raffle tickets is available for $25. Cash and checks made out to “Friends of the Verona Public Library” are accepted as payment.

The Friends will have raffle tickets available for sale at Fair in the Square on December 2.

The raffle drawing will take place on Wednesday, December 20 at 3:30 p.m. at the Verona Public Library, 880 Bloomfield Avenue, by the circulation desk. The winner need not be present.

The Friends of the Verona Public Library is a non-profit group dedicated to promoting and enhancing Verona’s most treasured asset – its Library. If you have questions on the Friends or would like to volunteer, email [email protected].
