This is what 95 Pease Avenue looked like when it came on the market in June 2016. It’s a much different house now.

Once upon a time, there was a two-bedroom, one-bath cape on a deep piece of property in the Forest Avenue section of Verona. It came on the market in June 2016 at $249,900 and, state property tax records show, sold almost immediately. But the sale price was substantially above the listing price–$316,018, to be exact.

And then everything about it was rebuilt and expanded. Now, the house at 95 Pease Avenue has four bedrooms, three bathrooms and new everything everywhere. The price? That’s expanded, too. And if your heart is set on something newer still, the owner of the lots at 42 and 48 Durrell Street has construction plans for a four-bedroom, 2 1/2 bath home on each.
