Verona High School has sent out a note about the procedures that will be followed for the Saturday, September 30, football game at Sellitto Field between VHS and Ramsey High School at at 7 p.m.
There will be two separate entrances provided for the game. One entrance, for fans of both teams, will be located at the driveway entrance behind the Home side bleachers. This entrance will also provide wheelchair access for those who require it.
The second entrance, for students only, will be located at the gate next to the driveway entrance on Sampson Drive. All VHS students must enter through this gate. In addition, students will not be permitted to bring bags, backpacks, or purses into the game.
At Saturday’s game, both teams will be wearing socks in the signature purple and teal colors of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention to raise awareness about suicide prevention. The game will also kick off the Week of Respect program at VHS. The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention raises awareness, funds scientific research, and provides resources and aid to those affected by suicide. You can learn more about its mission here.
