Mr. Steven P. Craig, 54, joined his parents on September 14, 2017. Visiting in the Prout Funeral Home, 370 Bloomfield Avenue, Verona will be on Sunday from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. A funeral mass will be offered in Our Lady of the Lake Church, Verona on Monday, September 18 at 10 a.m.
Born in East Orange, Steven has lived in Verona since 1971.
He was a 1981 graduate of Seton Hall Prep, was attending West Virginia University and was a member of Pi Kappa Phi. He was also a member of the Verona Rescue Squad and an usher at Our Lady of the Lake Church prior to a traumatic brain injury in 1985.
He was the son of the late Mary and Bernard ‘Frank’ Craig, Sr. He is survived by his siblings, Rosemary C. Tempesta, Bernie F. Craig, Jr., Eileen C. Altieri, Michael J. Craig and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
