Pass this along to someone in need: On Saturday, July 22, the Montclair Community Farms Mobile Truck will be at the Holy Spirit Verona Food Pantry, offering fresh produce. Holy Spirit will also have produce from Hope Garden, its joint outreach project with Holy Innocents West Orange.
Holy Spirit’s regular food pantry will also be open, from 9 to 11 a.m. Anyone in need is welcome.
The church accepts unexpired non-perishable food items for the pantry at all times (see its list of current needs here). Donations can be dropped off in the bin located just outside the parking lot door of the church building. You can also make donations to help Holy Spirit buy low inventory items and provide gift cards to shoppers. The food pantry is a ministry of the Episcopal Church of the Holy Spirit and your financial donation is tax deductible.
Holy Spirit is located at 36 Gould Street, just opposite the field behind H.B. Whitehorne Middle School.
