Onesies For Goats

As animal rescue efforts go this is a bit unusual, but there is a Verona connection, so here goes: Natasha Burns trains the guard dogs for Goats of Anarchy, a Hunterdon County sanctuary for  special needs baby goats. These are animals that have been neglected, abused or that have been born with physical and neurological disorders.

To keep the young animals warm, Goats of Anarchy needs onesies, the little outfits that you might have leftover from when your kids were babies. The newborn through three-month size is best. They could also use size 4-6 diapers and some of the nursing pillows that are known as “Boppys”, which help to support the new horns on the baby goats.

If you have any of these items, Burns asks you to drop them off at her house and she will bring them out to Goats of Anarchy. There will be a plastic bin by the brick lamp post at her house, which is located at 14 Marion Road on the Forest Avenue side of town.
