Overbrook Program At Cedar Grove Historical Society

You are invited to meet with the Cedar Grove Historical Society at the new Robert J. O’Toole Community Center, 199 Fairview Avenue, Cedar Grove, on Wednesday, April 26, at 7:30 p.m. where Phil Jaeger, local historian and author, will present the program “Overbrook.”

Jaeger is the author of books on Cedar Grove and Montclair in Arcadia’s Images of America series. A brief business meeting will precede the program.

The PowerPoint presentation begins with the opening of Overbrook in 1898 and ends with its partial demolition in 2016. Topics include: The Beginning, Early 1900s Expansion, Daily Operations, The Dairy Herd, Patient Activities, Decline, and Today.
